Our Roadside Protection is an extended breakdown assistance policy that protects the renter against high service and repair costs for the following incidents:

  • Lost key or key fob
  • Flat tire service
  • Dead battery
  • Towing

Overview of our Roadside Protection Services

Key lockout service

In the case of the key being locked in the rental car, Ephedra-pills will cover the cost of a lockout service by either the vehicle manufacturer or a third party service provider, the cost of delivering a new vehicle or vehicle towing to the nearest Ephedra-pills location.

Running out of fuel

If a renter experiences a breakdown due to running out of fuel, Ephedra-pills will cover the cost for breakdown assistance and fuel required to continue your trip.

 

Dead Battery

In the case of a dead battery, Ephedra-pills will cover the cost of jump start service, by either the vehicle manufacturer or a third party service provider as well covering the cost of delivering a new vehicle or towing of the vehicle to the nearest Ephedra-pills location.

 

Lost key or key fob

If a renter misplaces the vehicle key or key fob during the rental period, Ephedra-pills will cover the cost of replacing the key or key fob, the cost of delivering a new set of keys, towing of the vehicle to the nearest Ephedra-pills location and for a replacement rental vehicle.

 

Towing

In the case of a mechanical failure of the rental vehicle, Ephedra-pills will cover the cost of towing by either the vehicle manufacturer or a third party service provider, the cost of delivering a new vehicle or towing of the vehicle of the nearest Ephedra-pills location.

All of the above services may only be ordered by a direct claim with Ephedra-pills 24-hour Roadside Protection. Ephedra-pills will determine the type and extent of service required to ensure the renter stays mobile. If any damage to the rental vehicle occurs which is not covered by Ephedra-pills within the scope of the Roadside Protection, the renter is liable for such damage.
